The Huntsville office seeks a self-directed Business Development Representative (BDR) with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The BDR will support the Sales team in driving revenue growth for the company across multiple product lines. You will join a team of experienced and highly motivated electrical, RF, computer and robotics engineers. We’re eager to meet passionate individuals willing to join this team and help create the microlocation revolution.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries within 1 business day
  • Perform outbound prospecting under direction and in coordination with Director, Inside Sales
  • Deliver product information and address customer questions
  • Coordinate with FSE as needed to determine feasibility of customer use cases
  • Generate quotes and order paperwork
  • Assist customer purchasing departments with ordering process
  • Perform regular maintenance of sales data and activity in company CRM (HubSpot)
  • Hit monthly / quarterly / annual goals for revenue bookings and pipeline creation
  • Provide monthly inputs to rolling sales forecast
  • Serve as de facto account manager for Kit customers until volume warrants transition to field sales director
  • May be asked to perform other customer-facing tasks on occasion, including, but not limited to, providing customer support or resolving past due accounts
  • Other duties as assigned (could include infrequent travel in support of trade events or other special circumstance)

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with one year experience in a customer-facing role, or 2-year degree and equivalent work experience
  • Competitive minded person who thrives working in a team environment and is passionate about learning about new products and technologies
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; HubSpot or other CRM experience a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good memory for product specifications
  • Engineering or radio frequency background a plus
